OCA - Membership

Founder Members
Founder Members are those individuals who originally created the Society and participated in the first meeting of the Association, including the elected members of the first Executive Body.

General Members
General Members are individuals or professionals who are admitted on an annual membership basis and continue their membership through periodic renewal as per the rules of the Association.

Life Members
Life Members are individuals or professionals who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Association and have obtained lifetime membership, including the first Founder Members who opt for Life Membership.

Honorary Members
Honorary Members are distinguished individuals invited by the Association in recognition of their exceptional contribution or professional standing in fields such as clean technology, research, policy, administration, entrepreneurship, or allied areas. They act as mentors, advisors, or guides to the Association and are exempt from membership fees.

Corporate Members
Corporate Members are entities registered under the Companies Act, 2013 or any other applicable statute, and engaged in cleantech business or activities aligned with the objectives of the Association. They must satisfy the eligibility criteria and conditions prescribed by the Executive Body from time to time.

Academic Institution Members
Academic Institution Members include universities, colleges, research institutions, and centres of excellence that meet the eligibility criteria approved by the Executive Body and actively contribute to research, training, knowledge development, and cleantech capacity building.

School Cleantech Club Members
School Cleantech Club Members are individuals below 18 years of age who participate in school-level cleantech or sustainability clubs recognised by the Association, and who meet the eligibility conditions laid down by the Executive Body.

Young Members / Early Career Professionals
Young Members or Early Career Professionals are individuals between 18 and 30 years of age, or those within the first three years of their professional journey in the cleantech sector, who meet the eligibility criteria and seek to engage actively in the Association’s mission through learning, collaboration, and early-stage participation.
